Are your products free of synthetic fragrances, parabens, sulfates, phthalates?1

Yes, absolutely. What goes into our products is just as important as what we leave out, so you can rest assured that our formulas are 100% free of synthetic fragrances, parabens, sulfates, and phthalates. Our skincare products also never contain any ingredients derived from petroleum or silicone (because, yuck!).

Are your products vegan? Gluten-free? Cruelty-free? Biodegradable?2

Yes, yes, yes, and yes. We do everything we can to make our products as everything-friendly as possible—and for us, that means humans, animals, and the planet. Our skincare formulas are 100% naturally sourced, vegan, gluten-free, cruelty-free, and biodegradable. 

Is your packaging 100% recyclable?3

Yes, all of our product packaging, including boxes and vessels, are 100% recyclable. And in case they don’t end up recycled—because that happens more than most think—we’ve added D2W to all of our plastic packaging where possible to make them biodegradable (all of our products except the Worker Bee Oil glass bottle and pump, the pump on Flora Mist, and the glass candle vessels). D2W helps break down plastic exponentially faster than it would otherwise, whether it ends up recycled or not.  

Is QB Skincare part of Queen Bee Salon & Spa?4

QB Skincare was founded and created by owner Jodi Shays, who is also the owner and founder of Queen Bee Salon & Spa. Her hands-on experience as a licensed aesthetician working with clients inspired her to create a product line that is good for the skin and the planet while producing real results. Jodi believes so much in the wildly effective skincare line that it’s the same formulas used during treatment on spa clients at the Culver City, Dallas, and Seattle locations. She is still very hands-on, traveling from location to location, where she is delighted to work with her family of clients by providing services and answering any questions they may have. Now with QB Skincare, Jodi takes pride in bringing her expertise and product line to consumers everywhere to support their skincare journey. 

How can I reuse my candle vessels?5

Yes! In fact, we encourage it. While our vessels are made of fully recyclable glass, there are so many great ways to give your candle vessels new life instead of tossing them. We love using ours as succulent planters, holders for makeup brushes and other odds and ends, and of course, our personal favorite, a rocks glass for a tasty pour at the end of a long day.

Before repurposing, be sure to clean your glass. Remove all remaining wax by following one of these easy methods, then give it a good scrub and rinse. 

What is your return policy?6

We have spent thousands of hours, hundreds of days, and many dollars testing our products on our family of clients. We know they work well. We also acknowledge that, in rare cases, they might not work for everybody. However, if you purchase one or more of our products and it just doesn’t work out for you, please consider gifting it to a friend, colleague, your mum, or a shelter. 

Because here’s the thing. One of the beauty industry’s dirty, not-so-little secrets is that returned products get thrown out and end up in landfills. So no matter how much a brand talks about being environmentally friendly, if they’re selling to big box retailers with no-questions-asked return policies, things turn not so environmentally friendly real fast.

Having said that, if you can’t pass it along to someone who can use it, we are happy to refund you the purchase price, with a 20% restocking fee, if you notify us within 14 days after product arrival.

Can I use your product if I’m pregnant or nursing?7

While our products are generally safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding, we always recommend speaking with your doctor for specific advice while pregnant. 

Add mention of anything  with Salicylic Acid. 

Do you ship outside of the United States?8

Not at this time, but we’re considering adding this capability later this year. 

Do you offer wholesale so I can sell at my salon or boutique?9
